1. Contractorfindusa.com Waiver of Liability

ContractorFindUSA.com is a division of New Jersey Internet Consultants, L.L.C.   When you search the ContractorFindUSA.com Directory, you will be provided with an online list of contractors in your area, if any, who may be interested in working on your project.   Although we attempt to verify the credentials of the contractors whose listings appear in our directory, we make no guarantees nor endorsements regarding the skills or the quality of the job that the contractor(s) may perform for you if you hire them.

ContractorFindUSA.com does not endorse or recommend the services of any particular contractor. It is entirely up to you to enter into a direct contract or otherwise reach agreement with a contractor, and we do not guarantee or warrant their performance on the job or the outcome or quality of the services performed.

The contractors affiliated with Contractor.FindUSA.com are not employees or agents of ContractorFindUSA.com, nor is ContractorFindUSA.com an agent of the contractors. ContractorFindUSA.com does not perform, and is not responsible for, any of the services requested by you in your project submission or via your Directory search.

When you enter into a contract with any contractor, your rights are governed by the terms of that contract and by applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws. Should you have a dispute with any contractor, you must address the dispute with the contractor, or the contractor’s representatives directly.

BY USING THE CONTRACTORFINDUSA.COM SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE CONTRACTORFINDUSA.COM (AND OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS) AND ANY OTHER PERSON, FIRM, OR ENTITY FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES OR CLAIMS (INCLUDING CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES) OF EVERY KIND OR NATURE, SUSPECTED AND UNSUSPECTED, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, AND DISCLOSED OR UNDISCLOSED, IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR DEALINGS WITH CONTRACTORS.

2. Business Profiles, Listings, and Advertisements

ContractorFindUSA.com allows professionals and companies to post profiles, listings or advertisements about themselves and their business on the ContractorFindUSA.com website.  ContractorFindUSA.com does not review or verify the information or representations set forth in those profiles, unless otherwise noted in these Terms and Conditions.  

The above procedures may change from time to time at the sole discretion of ContractorFindUSA.com.   ContractorFindUSA.com believes that it uses commercially reasonable methods to obtain contractor and professional listings in the ContractorFindUSA.com Directory, but does not make any representations or warranties that its members are appropriately licensed, free of bankruptcies or civil or criminal legal judgments, or carry appropriate general liability insurance or bonding at the time of registration, during the period they are members, or thereafter. As circumstances can change daily, ContractorFindUSA.com advises consumers to check these matters for themselves especially at future dates.  ContractorFindUSA.com does not represent or warrant that the information received from state, provincial or other government agencies or from third party sources is accurate, error free, or that it is up to date or updated. Most agencies have periodic update cycles or schedules and this information is not updated on a real-time basis by such agencies and third party sources.

3. Testimonial Policy

Homeowners who employ the services of contractors listed in the ContractorFindUSA.com Directory are encouraged to submit testimonials and ratings of the contractors’ performance. Only those who have hired a contractor can submit a testimonial and a rating for that contractor.

ContractorFindUSA.com makes no claim to verifying the authenticity or accuracy of any testimonial before it is published to its website. ContractorFindUSA.com will not edit testimonials in any way other then to correct spelling mistakes and blatant grammatical errors. ContractorFindUSA.com has the discretion to remove testimonials that include foul or vulgar language.

Homeowners should be careful to only post accurate statements about their experience with their contractors, as slander laws are designed to protect people/companies from testimonial misuse.

A homeowner can post only one testimonial per contractor per job, although homeowners can edit their testimonial upon further reflection. All changes will be subject to the same review process as new testimonials.

4. Jurisdiction

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION:  The construction, validity and performance of this Agreement and any and all disputes between you and ContractorFindUSA shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New Jersey.  You agree that venue and jurisdiction for any dispute arising out of, related to, or regarding your use of ContractorFindUSA.com shall lie in the Superior Court of New Jersey, County of Bergen, State of New Jersey.

5. Links to Third Party Sites

The links in ContractorFindUSA website will let you leave ContractorFindUSA.com. The linked sites are not under the control of ContractorFindUSA and ContractorFindUSA is not responsible for the contents of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site, or any changes or updates to such sites.  ContractorFindUSA is not responsible for web casting or any other form of transmission received from any linked site.  ContractorFindUSA is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by ContractorFindUSA of the site.
